Mupfuyi AI Assistant

Mupfuyi (meaning “helper” in Shona) is Pamusika’s built-in AI farming assistant. You can ask Mupfuyi about farming techniques, current market prices, how to use the app, and much more. Mupfuyi can even help you create new listings by walking you through the process step by step.

Find Products

Ask Mupfuyi to search the marketplace for you. It will show you available listings with photos, prices, seller details, and location — right in the chat.

Farming Tips

Get advice on planting schedules, soil preparation, pest control, crop rotation, and other farming practices tailored to Zimbabwe’s climate and seasons.

Market Prices

Ask about current prices for crops, livestock, or equipment. Mupfuyi can give you price guidance so you know what to charge or what to expect to pay.

Create a Listing

Tell Mupfuyi what you want to sell and it will guide you through creating a listing — setting the title, price, quantity, and description — all through conversation.

One of Mupfuyi’s most useful features is helping you create listings through conversation. Instead of filling out a form, you simply describe what you want to sell.

  1. Tap Create listing or tell Mupfuyi something like “I want to sell 50kg of maize”.
  2. Mupfuyi will ask you follow-up questions to fill in the details — title, price, quantity, and description.
  3. As you chat, a Listing Draft preview appears at the bottom of the screen showing the details collected so far.
  4. When all required details are complete, the draft enters the Review step.
  5. Tap the Publish Listing button to make your listing live on the marketplace.

Mupfuyi understands and responds in both English and Shona (chiShona). You can switch between languages freely within a conversation. Type in whichever language is most comfortable for you.

Tap Mupfuyi from the menu to see your list of conversations. Each conversation shows its title, the number of messages, and when it was last active. Tap any conversation to continue where you left off.

  • Long-press a conversation to see management options.
  • Choose Archive to move it out of your active list. Archived conversations can be found under the Archived tab and unarchived at any time.
  • Choose Delete to permanently remove a conversation. This action cannot be undone.

Mupfuyi offers a number of free conversations per day. Once you have used your free chats, additional conversations cost points. Your remaining free chats are shown in the top-right corner of the chat screen.

Here are some things you can ask Mupfuyi:

  • “What tomatoes are available near Harare?”
  • “How do I prepare soil for planting maize?”
  • “What is the current price of groundnuts per kg?”
  • “I want to sell 20 crates of eggs at $3 each”
  • “How do I get verified as a seller?”
  • “Ndoda kutengesa muriwo wangu” (I want to sell my vegetables)
  • “Zvirimwa zvipi zviri kutengwa zvakanyanya?” (Which crops are selling the most?)
  • A disclaimer banner at the top of every chat reminds you that messages are AI-generated and may not always be accurate.
  • Conversations expire after a period of inactivity. You can always start a new one.
  • Mupfuyi does not have access to your private messages with other users.
