Farmer Quickstart
This guide walks you through everything you need to start selling on Pamusika. By the end, you will have an account, a profile, and your first listing live on the marketplace.
Get set up and sell
Section titled “Get set up and sell”-
Download the app
Download Pamusika from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Open the app and you will see the Pamusika welcome screen.
-
Create your account
Tap “Login or sign up with OTP” on the welcome screen. Enter your phone number (for example, +263771234567) and tap Send OTP.
You will receive a verification code. This may come via SMS or WhatsApp, depending on your network. Enter the 6-digit code, your name, and an optional password, then tap Verify & Continue.
If you already have an account, use the Login option with your phone number and password instead.
-
Set up your profile
Once logged in, go to the Profile tab (the person icon at the bottom of the screen). From here you can:
- Tap Edit Profile to add your name, photo, and bio. A good bio tells buyers what you grow and where you farm — for example, “Tomato and onion farmer in Goromonzi, Mashonaland East.”
- Add a province to help nearby buyers find you.
- Save up to 3 locations that you can reuse when creating listings (for example, “Mbare Musika” or “Chinhoyi Market”).
-
Create your first listing
Tap the + or List button to create a new listing. Fill in the details:
- Category — Choose from Produce, Livestock, Equipment, or other available categories.
- Title — A clear name for what you are selling (for example, “Fresh tomatoes - 20kg crate”).
- Price — Set your asking price.
- Quantity — How much you have available.
- Description — Add useful details like quality, size, or harvest date.
- Photos — Take or upload photos of your product. Good photos help buyers trust your listing.
- Location — Select one of your saved locations or enter a new one.
Review your listing and tap Publish. Your listing is now live on the marketplace.
-
Get verified
Verified sellers earn a green checkmark badge that builds trust with buyers. To start verification, go to Profile > Verification and complete the steps:
- Photo Verification — Take a selfie so the team can confirm you are a real person.
- ID Verification — Upload a photo of your national ID for identity confirmation.
Verification is reviewed by the Pamusika team and typically takes 2-3 business days.
